Express Pro Competition Cartridges were an immediate success when they were introduced in 1987. They are our joint best selling cartridges together with Super Competition Cartridges. Pro Competition Cartridges are made using the best components.
|
All the above have earned Express Pro Competition Cartridges many awards including the Readers' Awards of Sporting Gun Magazine 1995 & 1996. Express Clay Cartridges won the most popular clay cartridges award in 1997, 1998, 1999 & 2000. We are proud of this achievement. |

To ensure the most uniform patterns we use lead with 3.5% hardening alloys of which Antimony is 3%. The plastic wad used is chosen for ensuring protection to the barrels and shot as well as the most uniform patterns. The shot container is designed to open when leaving the muzzle and thus act as an aerodynamic brake so that the wad does not interfere with the shot string. Quality control of Pro Competition Cartridges is achieved by loading them in computer controlled machines and testing all batches in the most up to date ballistic laboratory under supervision of the Birmingham Proof House.
