The Supreme range of cartridges were introduced in 1991 as our "Flagship Cartridges". Since then they have won many Awards and Championships and have been voted the most popular cartridge irrespective of price.

The lead shot is made in Italy to our specifications at a specialist lead shot manufacturing facility.

The Vectan AS24 powder used in the new Supreme 24 gram cartridges is a new powder introduced in late 1996 by the SNPE Group and manufactured in Brittany, France. This latest powder from SNPE Group is a single base very clean burning powder introduced specifically for 24 gram cartridges.

The 28 gram Express Supreme Cartridges continue to use Vectan D 20 powder for the most uniform patterns at the extreme ranges of Clay Shooting. Supreme ZZ 36 gram (1 1/4 oz.) cartridges continue with Vectan A1-36.

Quality control includes checking the Antimony and other hardener contents as well as sphericity and surface imperfections. The lead used in the 24 & 28 gram Supreme cartridges is made with a whopping 7.2% Antimony and other hardeners. Supreme ZZ cartridges use forged shot with super copper plating of 15 microns thickness.

The plastic wad ensures a very efficient burn and protects the shot from deformation. The Plastic Wad is designed to protect the shot and open at the muzzle to prevent the wad from scattering the shot when the shot leaves the muzzle. Nickel Plated shot is available for the 24 gram and 28 gram cartridges to special order (Minimum 10,000 cartridges).
